This is an absolute 5 star hidden gem! It's tucked away and not immediately visible from the street but it's so worth going in - the space is gorgeous, the owner is very knowledgeable and the chocolates are delicious and fascinating.

There are lots of cool chocolate bars for sale but there are lots of activities available as well, I did the Chocolate Tasting 101 with my family and loved it so much that I would do it again - I really learned a lot (and would recommend doing it to understand why the bars are so expensive). You can also just go in for a cup of tea and a "chocolate tasting flight" in the cozy tasting room. And there are chocolate making classes! Such a cool business to have in Salmon Arm, I can't recommend it highly enough.

A completely enjoyable, informative tasting experience with Geoseph. His knowledge and passion for the subject of GOOD chocolate is so evident! He has created a wonderful space and atmosphere in which to learn about and sample chocolates from the world over. Like a wine tasting, the experience is very sensory and helps you look for the nuances in each sample. Highly recommend as a fun and interesting experience!

I organized a classic chocolate tasting session for a corporate event. It was a huge hit, undoubtedly thanks to Geoseph. He had a relaxed and friendly energy with which he was able to create a perfectly balanced atmosphere of engagement, education, and fun. The pacing of the session was perfect as he walked us through the history and process of chocolate. The timing was also coordinated on his end to be considerate of any time limitations that a given group may have. It was clear that there was a lot of thought that went into the collection of samples, each one being completely unique and interesting. Booking and coordinating the session was a smooth process to say the least, and Geoseph was accommodating, prepared, and proactive in all our interactions. It is an experience that I would recommend anyone to experience at least once if they can, and I am certainly looking forward to the possibility of working with Geoseph again and having him host another session in the future!

The most fancy and atmospheric place in Salmon Arm. Had the chocolate tasting for $9.00 and felt like I was in a big city for a hour. The chocolate was amazing, and the freshly made loose leaf oolong tea was great too. More people need to come here.

I have done 3 chocolate tastings with Geoseph and they were all wonderful and unique experiences. I have done a virtual tasting with my cousins, a tea & chocolate tasting in person with my cousins and a cheese & chocolate tasting in person with my husband and kids. I signed up for a private, zoom tutorial to work on my tempering skills. Geoseph walked me through techniques, we discussed recipes, tips and tricks, and he offered feedback on the completed chocolates. After I finished, I was able to successfully temper three batches of a recipe I was struggling with. I feel much more confident and look forward to working on my new techniques. We love this website, the dark chocolate and, most of all, Geoseph, the site owner. He loves chocolate and is incredibly generous in sharing his encyclopedic knowledge of all aspects of the subject. And he has a fantastic selection of bean to bar chocolate bars. Every month we buy 10-12 bars and then each evening after dinner, we have small pieces from three or four bars and talk about the taste of each. We've been doing this for a year now and have developed a little sophistication about the different tastes of good chocolate. It's been a wonderful and delicious education and we are just beginning. And learning more about chocolate and its different personalities has made us more discerning when it comes to eating sweets. We eat far less than we did before we took up the bean to bar habit.

Attending the Tasting and Education event with Geoseph was a birthday surprise for my husband. It turned out to be a fabulous trip around the world of chocolate, with history, education, amazing taste treats, and a coaching on how to expand our enjoyment, of not only chocolate, but everything we eat!

Geoseph was kind enough to put together a DIY chocolate tasting for our group since we were at a cabin with no internet. We found the booklet to be very helpful in understanding the entire start- to- finish process and how to fully experience the chocolate. The choices presented were a nice mix. All were surprised at how different our responses were to the same chocolate! For example, chocolate A presented as raspberry to one, molasses to a few and smoky tobacco to the rest of the group. I was repeatedly asked, "what's in this one?" Just the three same ingredients. Dry fine chocolate and a Wonderful experience!
