The best way to make a hot chocolate is to froth up a good quality grated chocolate with milk or milk substitute. A wonderful easy and effective way to do this is to use the steam wand on your espresso machine. Just be sure, as you always should, to purge your steam wand right after each use. Always refer to your instructions of your espresso machine or frother.
Fill the pitcher to the desired amount of milk
Add in 1-2 spoons of grated dark chocolate
Steam and froth your milk as you normally would
Give the pitcher a good swirl/shake and pour into your cup or over a shot of espresso for the perfect mocha.
