The History Of Chocolate Flavour

I like to start off some of my tastings with a journey back in time. Not only to discuss chocolate, but to actually taste it. Here are some samples including cacao fruit puree and historical drinking chocolates from thousands of years ago in Mesoamerica or hundreds of years ago in Renaissance Europe.

Chocolate today is unrecognizable to what chocolate used to be. I wonder if in 100 years it will transform into something unrecognizable once again.
