Kairi Chocolate - A tree to bar maker from Trinidad! Now Available.
Incredible bean-to-bar chocolate coming from Trinidad. Cherie and Deosaran not only make their own chocolate, but grow the cacao trees on their property. A true tree-to-bar maker, or as they like to put it, blossom to bar (although I think the midges require some credit there haha). They grow Trinitario cocoa beans, in the land where Trinitario originated.
Their single-plantation dark chocolate is aromatic and their flavoured bars are exceptionally crafted and well balanced. My favourites are the plantain and chickpea, although all are incredible. Cherie and Deosaran are doing incredible work growing and curing cacao themselves, and turning it into a beautiful range of chocolate bars.
