Have you been watching? Chocolate Maker Interviews

Bean-to-bar chocolate maker interviews.

I’ve been having a lot of fun chatting with chocolate makers from around the world. Maybe you’ve been watching already. If you have not, tune in! Meet the people behind the revolutionary bean-to-bar movement. Learn about their journey into it, their struggles, and their ideas about craft chocolate moving forward. Why have I been conducting these interviews? Here are the main reasons:

  1. I love having conversations about the craft of chocolate making.

  2. I wanted a way to improve the Bean To Bar App and Map I created. I thought instead of having you read about the makers, why not listen to them first hand! Hear what they have to say, and get to know the people behind your chocolate.

  3. To educate the world on craft chocolate. Although the interviews are about the stories of people, you will also learn a lot about the craft of chocolate making and the industry as a whole.

I am also including not only chocolate makers, but cacao distributors and other interesting people in the industry. The bean-to-bar world likes to boast about transparency in regards to cacao and chocolate making, but it’s also important for the owners and businesses to be honest and transparent about who they are and why they are doing what they do.

I believe more people should start making chocolate from the cocoa bean. Whether that means starting a business, or simply a hobby at home. The more people who have making and appreciating fine chocolate, the better it will be for everyone.
