Virtual Educational Fine Chocolate Tasting

  • We will meet on Zoom! (map)

A tasting like no other! This is not merely a tasting you will taste chocolate and I will discuss where it comes from. This is a tasting that well delve into:

  • The history of the flavour and creation of chocolate

  • How fine chocolate is made today

  • Neurogastronomy of chocolate

  • Analyzing single-origin darks, milks, and flavoured fine chocolate

Fair trade (above Fairtrade standards), made with rare cacao by small-scale craft chocolate makers from around the world.

Dietary requests? All samples will be gluten-free and nut-free (although I can't guarantee no traces of gluten or nuts). Some samples will contain dairy, with the option to have vegan alternatives.

Learn about what makes fine chocolate so unique, and how to discern which is fine and which is not. Learn better techniques for tasting, and get some understanding on how to better articulate and appreciate your fine chocolate.
