Sweet Erasure Chocolate Tasting (vegan)

  • Bean To Bar World 6600 Davand Drive Mississauga, ON, L5T 2M3 Canada (map)

A unique chocolate tasting. We will learn and analyze a flight of fine craft chocolate bars together as a group. Then we will "wash" our mouths with a sweet erasure, and sample the same chocolate bars but this time, with the sensation of the sweetness removed. Your perception of the flavour will change and it's a very strange yet fun sensation.

This erasure is a tea made from a herb one can find at many herbal and natural path shops. Important: It is suggested that those who take the herb not be on on any diabetes/blood medications or by pregnant women.

This tasting will include sampels of mostly single-origin dark chocolate bars, but will include a flavoured bar or two. No samples will contain dairy (vegan friendly) gluten, or nuts (although I can't guarantee no traces of these).

We will learn together, it will be very interactive, there will be music, and there will be time for questions and purchasing bars if you wish. Anyone who loves to learn is welcome! Come with an open mind to try new an unique flavours.

Includes: Flight of 10 samples, Informative handout.

Important! Please come hungry or have a very small meal beforehand, or have your meal after the tasting if possible. Being full limits your ability to taste. Please do not wear perfumes as this will also interfere with yours and others ability to pick up the aromas.
